There are a lot of exciting changes in Livecoding.tv v2.5 release. One of those changes include a separate section for different programming languages.

There are 266 language categories covered in our new release. You can learn about these languages by accessing the newly released “All Categories” page.

Let us show you, the step by step guide for exploring the category page.

Step 1: Simply click the categories button on the top menu to view all language categories.

Step 2: You will land on the categories page where you can view all categories. Click on one category like Ruby to access all information about it.

Step 3: There are broadcasts in the middle section of the page. You can view beginner, intermediate and expert level broadcast content as shown below.

Step 4: You can access important introductory information about Ruby language at the top, and even share it with your friends and colleagues. You can also view all info at once by clicking “read more”.

Step 5: You can also access resource and information of topics such as its history, tools, books, etc. All topics as marked below and can be found on the left side of the page. You can also view all type of broadcasts based on varying skill levels by clicking on beginner, intermediate or expert.

Step 6: So you can select each topic or click read more as seen in “step 4” to read a particular topic. Apart from introduction and history, you can also see the best tools for a particular language such as for Ruby.

Step 7: You can access books suited for beginner, intermediate or advanced level. Furthermore, you can go through the best projects of that programming language and also find the source of best community support.

Step 8: At the end of the page you can download language’s cheat sheet.

This is by far not everything on offer. If you have at least 4 years of experience in a certain programming language, you can become a Ninja for that programming language. A Ninja can update and add important content in the language categories.
