Shieldgenerator7 from the US is an Indie game developer who loves making games. He started making games from the small age which continued throughout his college. He loves developing games in JavaScript, C++, C#, and Java. He is currently working on his first long-term project, “Stoned.”

The project that he will work on is “PacMan Tutorial in Unity C#” This project is in TEACHING mode. It is a live and real-world project. This means that you can interact with the streamer and communicate with them directly using chat. Got stuck? Just go ahead and ask him questions.

What is the project about?

Have you ever asked yourself what the challenges of building a PacMan game are? PacMan is one of the most popular games, and it is one of the first generation game that made it to millions of players. Now, you can build a PacMan game from the ground up using C# and Unity. The tutorial will cover major concepts such as simple enemy AI, level construction, pill collection, etc.You will also learn the basics of GitHub and Unity.

For who is the project aimed at?

The project is aimed at learners who want to start GameDev. Anyone who is also interested in learning Unity C# or learn PacMan in Unity C# can also benefit from the course. To completely enjoy and learn at the same time, the viewer should have a basic understanding of PacMan gameplay and programming in general. If you are a complete beginner, the course is not for you. You need to meet the basic requirement before you can start with the tutorial.

The target audience for the course:

  • Game Devs, amateur or professional, who want to learn Unity C# or learn how to make PacMan in Unity C#
  • Programmers who want to learn something new

What will you be able to do after you finish the course?

After you finish the tutorial, you will be able to transform a PSD website to WordPress. This is extremely useful for web developers who want to dive deep into the WordPress realm. You will be able to build a blog, a news website or even a job listing website with the skills you learn from the tutorial.

4/6 – Session 2: Player Controller

  • Making player object
  • Animating the player
  • Making the player move

  • Adding collectable pills
  • Making the player collect them
  • Adding score GUI
